Membership of The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists [AACP] is open to UK Chartered Physiotherapists with 80 Hours of Acupuncture training. Membership of AACP is also open to Physiotherapists practising overseas, who have a qualification equivalent to Chartered Physiotherapist and who have the required training.

Members of AACP pay a subscription and in addition may need to pay a joining fee.
When they join AACP as a full member, Physiotherapists must pay a Joining Fee [JF] of £80, in addition to their annual subscription for that year. However, the Joining Fee will be waived for Physiotherapists who join AACP as full members within three months of undertaking an AACP Approved Foundation Course.

The AACP subscription is payable annually and may be paid by Cash, Cheque, Direct Debit or Card. In most cases, this subscription should be allowable against income tax - for details, please see the HMRC website.

Please print out the form[s]and fill in, taking care to make sure that all fields are completed and particularly that details such as E-Mail addresses are correct and legible. If you wish to pay by Direct Debit, make sure that your bank details are correct and legible - Sort Codes have 6 digits and Account numbes have 8 - if you are unsure about these numbers, please check with your bank.
Pack up the completed Application Form , Direct Debit Mandate, Training Certificates any appropriate remittance and send to the address below. Applicants who are not current members of the CSP must also enclose a copy of their professional liability insurance certificate that covers their practising Acupuncture. The AACP Office aims to process all new membership applications within 5 working days and they will be in touch with you if any further information is required. Please allow 10 working days for processing your application before querying progress.
