Summary
Many women look to more natural or less invasive options to deal with ill health or dysfunction. The array of uniquley female health issues are just the time when such complementary options for alleviating symptoms and improving quality of life are welcome. Acupuncture can offer a valid alternative or complement to bring relief from common female conditions and discomforts where conventional medical treatments are restricted or come with unwanted side effects.

This course will give all practitioners who have contact with this patient group the necessary knowledge, practical skills and confidence to safely treat a variety of female related issues that present in clinic. It will draw on the tutors experience as a midwife, gynaecology nurse and pain team sister and acupuncturist to equip the practitioner gain the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct safe and effective treatments for this patient group.

This course is open to health professionals with previous acupuncture training and who have a significate level of anatomical and physiological knowledge.
