This two-day course is designed for practitioners who wish to develop new practical needling skills in the management of MSK conditions via trigger point needling. The course covers a review of the commonly accepted mechanisms of trigger point development and examines the evidence supporting needling. The significant practical aspect of the course explores a variety of needling techniques to manage commonly presenting msk conditions throughout the body in all major muscle groups.
Includes deep and superficial trigger point approaches for needling SCM, trapezius, levator scapulae, rotator cuff, pec. major, quadratus lumborum, gluteus max., med., min., piriformis, erector spinae group, hamstrings, quadriceps, gastrocnemius, soleus and more.
This course is open to health professionals with previous acupuncture training and who have a significant level of anatomical and physiological knowledge.
